Notice Of Your Financial Privacy Rights

We, our, and us, when used in this notice, mean Inland Valley FCU.
This is our privacy notice for our members. When we use the words “you” and “your” we mean the following types of members:

  • Our consumer members who have a continuing relationship by purchasing or holding financial products or services such as a (n):

  • Self-directed Individual Retirement Account

We will tell you the sources of the information we collect about you. We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information.

Website
Inland Valley FCU may set a cookie on your computer used for the sole purpose of identifying you as a return site visitor, and is not shared with any other website. This allows us to identify general information and is used to compile standard statistics on site usage. Website browsers will remain anonymous and unidentifiable as an individual to our website or any other site.

E-Mail
Inland Valley FCU may use members’ e-mail addresses to send important information relating to their accounts, communicate with them to handle requests, and to inform them about other Credit Union products and services.

Children’s Online Privacy
The law requires parental consent to collect or use information from a child under 13. If you are a parent with children under the age of 13, please do not let your child use the Inland Valley FCU website or online banking services without verifiable parental consent pursuant to the children’s online privacy protection act.

USA Patriot Act
In accordance with section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, members authorize us to verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. They further authorize us to check account, credit, and employment history, and obtain a credit report from third parties, including credit-reporting agencies, to verify eligibility for any account or services requested.
